After 5 weeks of attempts, I finally watched Black Swan last night. Its sick and twisted turns still have my brain churning. Highly, highly recommended.
These conceptual posters for the movie delight me with their simplicity, colors, and use of negative space. The last is my favorite.

I constantly look back at these posters with awe. What an amazing combo of clever color pop and body abstraction. From Russian graphic designer Zhishi.

Also from their portfolio: this poster with some flying boobs. Does anyone know Russian? Deciphering the message here is definitely a priority.

I’m not usually keen on the 80s aesthetic, but, man, do I have a soft spot for these stylized Patrick Nagel prints. He would start with a photo and then remove “unnecessary” elements until the image was flat. He is very well known for the album art he did for Duran Duran’s Rio (<3333) and, unfortunately, died in his 30s. The last one is my favorite.
