Based on satellite images of the earth, Florian Puncher’s LandCarpets give the same birds eye view in your living room as you would see from the window from an airplane. Each one is based on different land use patterns from around the world.

They’re not the most beautiful/modern (yes, those are synonymous) items for your home, but the idea is certainly interesting. I would at least get the farm animals.

Unique textiles

Lately I’ve been really into the industrial beauty of prints from Fokus Fabrik. The fabrics are made from organic hemp and cotton. The designers are Scandinavian– what a surprise.

Simple black and white? Yes.

Minimal, but with a statement? Yes.

An aesthetically-pleasing group of three? Yes.

These pillows from Etsy user diffractionfiber have pretty much all the elements that I would be interested in having on my couch (if I owned a couch, that is).
